Alright. So, it's very true that my children don't look a lot alike, but as Caden grows, I think he's beginning to look more and more like Bailey. Sarah and Hiba came over for a visit. It was lovely to see them both! Hiba and Caden got along very well! :) We're going to use this picture in their wedding powerpoint show. Yes, the betrothal is official, we just need to get Sarah and Jason a couple of goats and a good sturdy cow. She looks just like her dad, with her mom's eyes. Just gorgeous! She is so cute, and she and Bailey played very well together. It's nice that they already know who their best friend will be for life! Here we go again... stupid ice.

Well, the ice is back. Granted, it's not nearly as bad as it was last time (December 07) but it's still causing problems. Lots of people are losing power and there are tons of wrecks. We've been blessed and haven't lost our power, which is huge because having 2 little ones in a powerless house would be horrible! Bailey has discovered the art of ignoring. If she's doing something bad, like getting into stuff she shouldn't, I say her name and tell her no. Then she tenses up and stands perfectly still. She'll keep her hands on what she was doing, but not more, not a muscle. It's kind of funny to watch. Then I call her name again and again, but she won't move, not even a little! So, I have to go over and pick her up and gell her no to her face, which always makes her cry (I don't know where she gets that!) and then we hug and make up and move on. A weekend away

We had a lovely weekend at the cabins with the Clarks and their small group. It was lovely! The weather had just enough chill in it to make the cabins extra cozy and everyone's cheeks just a little rosie. We played games, ate lots of food and just really relaxed. Bailey was so cute, toddling all over the place. She's quite the walker now. Since she's has walking down so well, we thought it was about time for her to learn another way of moving... We really had a blast out there, here are some highlights. Chuck taught Bailey how to play cards. We played lots of ping pong. Jason and I both beat Chuck (which is impressive if you know how good that man is with any kind of raquet!). Bailey discovere the wonder of a doorknob. Regular Old Blog Update

I couldn't think of a creative title for this update (obviously) and I apologize for the monotony the title implies. But, today was just a regular day. Bailey was hilarious, adorable and a total hand full. Caden is still sick, I don't know what to do at this point but to wait and see if he gets worse. It's sad, really, I hate this waiting game. I just want him better. I can't feel good when my son is hurting, it's just not possible! Well, here's a funny story to lighten the mood. I was working on the computer today, and heard Caden coughing. Bailey had been sitting in my lap, so I set her on the floor and went in to see if Caden was ok. When I came back out into the hallway where our computer is, this is what I found... Yeah, luckily, Jason was at work, so I got them all put away before he got home. She's just so cute! Mommy Moments

Well, this is the third time I've sat down to write this blog. Things just keep on happening! Bailey is in bed though and Jason is rocking Caden, so hopefully I should be able to get the whole thing done before I have to run off and do something. I've always wanted to be a mom, for as long as I can remember. I loved the idea of having a little house, with my kids and my husband. Well, now I've accomplished this dream and I'm getting to the point where specific things I've dreamt about are happening. These I dub my "mommy moments". For instance, yesterday I discovered that I can put Bailey's hair up in pig tails. I've always loved doing people's hair and now I get to do my daughters! It really is so much fun now, I have to stop myself from putting in pigtails before bed, just because they look so cute on her. I do like the part when I pull the rubberbands out and her hair stays sticking straight up like some sort of antennas. But, anyway, that w

So, mommy is always on this thing typing about her day. So, I want to tell you all about my day! First off, Mommy comes in to get me up. I have very specific ways of sleeping to get the most beauty rest. I call this one "one foot over the line." Here I am sleeping, I like to stick my elbow behind my head for better cranial circulation. After mommy gets me out of bed, I have to check under the crib for any pacifiers that I dropped over the edge last night. It's hard work, but someone has to do it! Then it's time to pick out an outfit. Now, this might be an easy part to your day, but not for me! I have so many amazing clothes, it's a real toughy to make a decision. I think I'm going towards pink and black today. I have just the outfit from Grandma. Next, it's time for breakfast. I usually try and get a good assortment of food groups. My absolute fav is bananas and yogurt bites. Oh man, you haven't started your day right without some yogurt bites! No
