Life Lately

Life has been busy lately. Caden is wrapping up potty training. This makes me very happy. I've been changing diapers since October 25, 2007. I'm ready for a break before Baby 3 gets here! Bailey is starting gymnastics soon! There was an incredible deal at a local gymnastics academy and she's starting in the next couple weeks. I just have to call and sign her up! The only problem I'm having is finding a leotard that covers every inch of her! :) Jason's job is going really well. It's been crazy busy which is one reason that it is 7:10 on Sunday evening and we are all at the office! I'm working on finding stuff for the baby's room online, Bailey and Caden are watching Veggie Tales and Jason is plugging away trying to get ahead before another week starts tomorrow! My pregnancy is going well. I've stopped throwing up, but am still fighting pretty extreme fatigue. The baby is a dancer! I've been feeling kicks for the last 4 weeks which is impressive co

Jason's Father's Day Weekend

Friday Evening- Jason returns from a hard day at work to find the entire house scrubbed and organized from top to bottom. I clean the house regularly, but I have not scrubbed every room including our bedroom (dumping grounds) in years, he was VERY pleasantly surprised! Saturday Morning- The kids and I wake up and make oatmeal pancakes, scrambled eggs and coffee for Jason while he sleeps in. We bring it to him in bed and we all sit in bed and watch Phineas and Ferb. He then gets his Father's Day gift on a veggie strainer he wanted and a box of Captain Crunch! Saturday Afternoon- Jason a long shower while I get the kids dressed after our lazy morning, then he takes them out to the front yard to play. Caden plays football, Bailey learns how to throw a frisbee. We go to a birthday party for Bailey's friend and we eat way too much food. Saturday Evening- We leave the party and come home and make a Strawberry Pie to pay the babysitter that offered to watch our kids for pie! Jason and

What Fun!

Life has been busy, crazy but oh, so FUN! In the past week, I've gotten to go to the Bahamas with my friend and I got to spend 24 hours with my dad who was in town for a 50th anniversary celebration. Both adventures were so incredible and made me remember that even though I'm hot, pregnant and cranky, at times, I am so amazingly blessed. I met my best friend, Sarah, in 1991. I was in 1st grade and she was in 2nd. We met at church and have been buds ever since. We got to celebrate our 20th anniversary with a 5 day trip to the Bahamas where we were on a resort and got to relax. We left our husbands and kids behind for a few days resting and enjoying each others company. It was so incredible! This is the view we saw for 4 days, lying on the beach, reading and relaxing. It was so incredible and such a blessing that we were able to go. We got to go sailing, snorkeling and relax by the beach. Sarah even got to do the trapeze. I didn't, due to the baby in my womb (and because I
