Info for my Family

Well, tomorrow at 6am, I'm off! No blog updates for awhile, I imagine, but I did want to leave some information for you.

First off, here is my itinerary:

Tomorrow- We leave Tulsa at 6:00 am and drive to Dallas. In Dallas we take a 1:00 pm flight to Honolulu and land at 4:00 (Hawaii time) We get on the boat then depart from Honolulu and sail to Maui (Kahului) We stay there overnight Sunday night and are there on Monday.
At 6:00pm on Monday we sail to Hilo.
At 6:00 pm on Tuesday we sail to Kona. We spend the night in Kona.
On Thursday at 6:00 pm we sail to Kauai
Then Friday at 6:00 pm we sail back to Honolulu. After debarking, we'll take an overnight flight back to Dallas and land in Dallas at 7:00 am on Saturday. We'll then drive back for 4 hours and should get back to Tulsa around 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 23rd.


Secondly, here is some basic information for you...

-We will have Sprint service the majority of the time, so if you need me... call me! Christa- 918-269-4486 Jason- 918-361-9068 Dana- 918-808-1880 Chuck- 918-361-1004

-If you need to get ahold of someone at home, and they're not answering, our home number is 918-286-2717.

-Hawaii time is 5 hours AHEAD of Tulsa time.


Thirdly, we are going to miss our children soooo much. But we are taking a week to invest in our marriage and each other. We need alone time and God knew that when He opened the doors for this opportunity. We couldn't be happier or feel more blessed. We'll take lots and lots of pictures and tell you all about it when we get home.

    Hey, just sent you a text (sorry if it's late, I wanted you to have it before you left in the morning). Baron and I live in Dallas, and if you need somebody to hang out with, or if your flight is delayed, you are welcome to stay at my house. I left my number for you on the text and on a message on FB.

Life has been busy, crazy but oh, so FUN! In the past week, I've gotten to go to the Bahamas with my friend and I got to spend 24 hours with my dad who was in town for a 50th anniversary celebration. Both adventures were so incredible and made me remember that even though I'm hot, pregnant and cranky, at times, I am so amazingly blessed. I met my best friend, Sarah, in 1991. I was in 1st grade and she was in 2nd. We met at church and have been buds ever since. Mom

Being a mom isn't easy. It doesn't come to you overnight, everyday brings new challenges, new questions, new concerns. Devan doesn't care if I'm tired at 5:30am and he's hungry. Caden doesn't understand why I can't get out of the shower to help him get his car from under the couch and Bailey wants to dance ALL the time. Sometimes, I can't dance. They don't understand why mom isn't on call to them all day, and it can be overwhelming. Yet, this job is the ONLY thing I want to do. God made me to be a mom. He gave me big hips to hold my babies, long arms to cradle them to sleep and He gave me a huge heart with room for all of them. Having three children that are 4 and under is not an easy feat, but everyday is so full of adventures and surprises. Regular Old Blog Update

I couldn't think of a creative title for this update (obviously) and I apologize for the monotony the title implies. But, today was just a regular day. Bailey was hilarious, adorable and a total hand full. Caden is still sick, I don't know what to do at this point but to wait and see if he gets worse. It's sad, really, I hate this waiting game. I just want him better. I can't feel good when my son is hurting, it's just not possible! Well, here's a funny story to lighten the mood. I was working on the computer today, and heard Caden coughing. Bailey had been sitting in my lap, so I set her on the floor and went in to see if Caden was ok. When I came back out into the hallway where our computer is, this is what I found... Yeah, luckily, Jason was at work, so I got them all put away before he got home. She's just so cute!
