Bailey's Words

So, in a few days my family will descend upon this house from all over. Bethany and Danae from Chicago, and Andrew from Arkansas. They will be watching my kiddos while Jason and I take a little vacation. For their sake, I have written down a list of Bailey's words... and what she's actually trying to say.

Theez- "May I please have some cheese?"
Bibble- "I would love to take a bath and play with the bubbles, please."
Jue- "Please fill my sippy cup with juice and hand it over."
BeeBee- "That's the Baby, his name is Caden."
Biaper- "That's a diaper."
Doggie- "Look at that canine!"
Puppy- "I want Poppy. (chuck)"
Cicker- "Please hand me that cracker in your hand."
Soo- "Here's my shoe! Will you put it on my foot?"
Dow- "I would like down out of my high chair, please."
Daddy- "Daddy!"
Mooommmy- "Mommy!" (she always says it sooo slow, it's adorable!)


Doesn't she have incredible manners? So those are it for now, I'll let you know if she comes up with any more!

    I'm thoroughly studying each word. I may print off a copy and study on my way next week so I will be thoroughly versed. :)

Life has been busy, crazy but oh, so FUN! In the past week, I've gotten to go to the Bahamas with my friend and I got to spend 24 hours with my dad who was in town for a 50th anniversary celebration. Both adventures were so incredible and made me remember that even though I'm hot, pregnant and cranky, at times, I am so amazingly blessed. I met my best friend, Sarah, in 1991. I was in 1st grade and she was in 2nd. We met at church and have been buds ever since. We got to celebrate our 20th anniversary with a 5 day trip to the Bahamas where we were on a resort and got to relax. Mom

Being a mom isn't easy. It doesn't come to you overnight, everyday brings new challenges, new questions, new concerns. Devan doesn't care if I'm tired at 5:30am and he's hungry. Caden doesn't understand why I can't get out of the shower to help him get his car from under the couch and Bailey wants to dance ALL the time. Sometimes, I can't dance. They don't understand why mom isn't on call to them all day, and it can be overwhelming. Yet, this job is the ONLY thing I want to do. God made me to be a mom. He gave me big hips to hold my babies, long arms to cradle them to sleep and He gave me a huge heart with room for all of them. Having three children that are 4 and under is not an easy feat, but everyday is so full of adventures and surprises. Regular Old Blog Update

I couldn't think of a creative title for this update (obviously) and I apologize for the monotony the title implies. But, today was just a regular day. Bailey was hilarious, adorable and a total hand full. Caden is still sick, I don't know what to do at this point but to wait and see if he gets worse. It's sad, really, I hate this waiting game. I just want him better. I can't feel good when my son is hurting, it's just not possible! Well, here's a funny story to lighten the mood. I was working on the computer today, and heard Caden coughing. Bailey had been sitting in my lap, so I set her on the floor and went in to see if Caden was ok. When I came back out into the hallway where our computer is, this is what I found... Yeah, luckily, Jason was at work, so I got them all put away before he got home. She's just so cute!
