Easter and More

Easter has come and gone, but my mind is full of memories that will be treasured. The kids were so excited about everything and Bailey really understood the real meaning of Easter. Check out my facebook HERE to see a video of Bailey telling the Easter story.
On Easter Sunday we went to church and met up with the family at Los Cabos for lunch (delicious!). Then we went to Chuck and Dana's new house for Easter Egg hunting and pie!
We got the kids pillow pets for Easter. They have wanted them for about a year and get so excited whenever we see them in the store, we finally got them each one and their reactions were priceless!
It was a wonderful day full of celebrating God's perfect gift. I'm in love with my life!
Other updates include Jason's job is moving to a new, larger office at the end of May. Tulsa Websites and SEO Services is now called Quantis Creative due to the fact that they do WAY more than just websites and SEO.
BEFOREAFTERThe pregnancy is going along well(ish). I'm 11 weeks today and it's been a pretty tough 11 weeks, lots of morning sickness (which is actually morning, noon and night sickness) and I haven't been sleeping well. But the good thing is that I'm almost done with the first trimester which should mean relief from a lot of these symptoms. We went to the doctor and saw an ultrasound. The baby looked good, had a strong heartbeat and seems to be fine! The last post was about the baby being the size of a blueberry. Now the baby is 2 inches long and has fingernails! All of the organs are in place and the little heart has started pumping blood! It's such an exciting time! Below are the ultrasound pics, I love them!

    Love the Easter photos of all three of your beautiful children! Oh, and your hair is really dark, isn't it. Come on, I can't be the only blonde in this family! I love you!

My Extreme Makeover Home Edition

So, as many of you know, we bought a house in May of 2008 that was quite a fixer-upper. It was a foreclosure that had been empty for 2 years! We have spent the last 8 months scrubbing, painting and getting the inside just the way we want it. We have bold colors on the walls, family pictures everywhere, new wood floors down and pretty lighting fixtures that really lighten up the place. But, the thorn in my side has been the outside. Due to the fact that it was empty for so long, the trim went from hunter green, to hideous turquoise. The main color used to be a yellowish cream and now looks more like a very light pink. (yick!) Well, all that changed this weekend when my wonderful in-laws came over and helped us paint. The BEFORE: (boo!) The AFTER: (hooray!) Thank you so, so much to the Clarks and to Jason for working so hard to make our house look so wonderful. It truly feels like our home now.

What Fun!

Life has been busy, crazy but oh, so FUN! In the past week, I've gotten to go to the Bahamas with my friend and I got to spend 24 hours with my dad who was in town for a 50th anniversary celebration. Both adventures were so incredible and made me remember that even though I'm hot, pregnant and cranky, at times, I am so amazingly blessed. I met my best friend, Sarah, in 1991. I was in 1st grade and she was in 2nd. We met at church and have been buds ever since. We got to celebrate our 20th anniversary with a 5 day trip to the Bahamas where we were on a resort and got to relax. We left our husbands and kids behind for a few days resting and enjoying each others company. It was so incredible! This is the view we saw for 4 days, lying on the beach, reading and relaxing.
