Christmas with the Clarks
Christmas at the Clark household is always quite a to-do. We take celebrating Jesus pretty seriously and plan many things in to one action-filled month. It is delightful.
Christmas this year began with a Skype Christmas with the Keenas. The Castles came over and we enjoyed talking to the family over Skype on our TV. It was fun seeing my dad on our wall. It was such a fun evening.
Danae decorated Christmas cookies with Caden and Bailey. They both had sooo much fun, and I think she did too. Bailey wore her apron, Caden wore most of the frosting. It was so fun to watch and needless to say, neither one of them ate a very good dinner afterwards...
We used some sprinkles we got from Granny and Grandpa awhile ago. Caden was a big fan of the dinosaur sprinkles. I personally liked the stars. :)
After Christmas with the Keenas we headed over to Chuck and Dana's to spend the night and the kids (Bailey, cousin Hunter and Caden) all got matching jammies and Christmas socks! They were so precious. They also got little light things that were a big hit!
The next morning was Christmas Eve, we did our regular Christmas morning stuff early so Jessica and Justin could be there. Bailey and Caden got a keyboard, Caden LOVES it! He is quite musical, I hope he takes after his Grammy Keena and Granny Kelch!
After the presents, the kids crashed and watched Toy Story (something Caden got for Christmas) it was cute to see 3 crazy, active toddlers crash so hard and stay still for an entire movie. Christmas morning isn't for amateurs around our house!
That night, the other side of the family came over and we had Christmas Eve with Chuck's side of the family. It's always an evening full of laughter and this year was no exception. Lots of food, lots of jokes, lots of silly presents and one perfect evening with the fam.
Jason got his blanket that I made for him out of old college t-shirts. He liked it... as you can tell by his face.
I also made a blanket for Jason's dad (Chuck), Jason's cousin (Thomas), Jason's brother-in-law (Justin), Jason's Uncle (Darrell) and Jason's cousin-in-law (Jake). They were all a hit!
Caden got a new Cardinals hat for Christmas. It was so cute to see his little face light up! He's been wearing it ever since! (We do force him to take it off for bath time and occasionally bedtime, but he has been known to wear his hat to bed a couple of times when mommy's too tired to mind.)
Chuck was so cute, he really loved his time with the three grand kids. Hunter lives in Eastern Arkansas, so it's been hard having him so far away, so when he's here, it's all full of fun activities and quality time!
One of my favorite presents that Bailey got was a doll from Dana (Bailey named her Roxy) and then Dana got her a dress and a matching dress for Roxy. It was so cute! Bailey wore it to church on the 26th and got quite a bit of attention for her little ensemble!
So, these are just a few of the pictures from this Christmas. If you want to see more, just click here and you can see them all!
We love you all and wish you a very Happy New Year!
